On October 19, 2016, the Delegation of Solomon Islands to UNESCO hosted a special lunch at the European Parliament HQ in Brussels, organized by the President of the Cercle des Ambassadeurs à Paris

This lunch was chaired by Minister Samuel Manetoali and Ambassador Mose Moses Kuni

The Pacific States Representatives attended. Mr. Getachew Engida Deputy Director General of UNESCO was the special guest of the meeting addressing the situation of Pacific States in UNESCO
